This wealth toad pendant is depicted with a coin in its mouth. Just like the Dzambala mongoose is an Indian symbol of being a wealth giver, so too is the 3-legged toad. The origin of this belief is probably oriental.

Obsidian is considered as being good for grounding and insight. The gold sheen reminds one of gold and thus wealth. Black obsidian is said to be an excellent grounding as well as protective stone, deflects negative energies and facilitates the removal of ego conflicts.
